Overview
The Senior Citizens Commission offers information and assistance to seniors in the community. It promotes awareness of concerns pertaining to the city's senior population and provides policy direction pertaining to the
community bus service. For additional information, please send an

Senior Luncheons
The commission provides programming on the fourth Thursday of each month (except July, August and December) at 11 a.m. at the Oak Forest Park District Park Place at Central at 15601 S. Central Avenue. Tickets are $5.00 each and include entertainment, lunch and cash bingo. Tickets are available at City Hall.
Senior Health Fair
The commission also hosts a Senior Health Fair every October at the
Oak Forest Park District at 15601 S. Central Avenue. At the fair, seniors can receive free or discounted health screenings, get their flu and/or pneumonia shots, renew their drivers' licenses, and much more.
