Zoning

The current City of Oak Forest Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map was approved in 2014.  It regulates land use, lot size, landscaping, parking and other development related requirements, as well as procedures to request zoning relief from the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. The Community Development Department is responsible for reviewing projects for compliance with the Zoning Ordinance and amended it as directed by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council.
