Dwayne Fox has served as city treasurer from 1989 to 1996 and from 1999 to present.
His vision for the city: "I want to find a means to stabilize city taxes. In addition, I want to provide tax education for Oak Forest citizens. There seems to be a lack of knowledge with regard to the makeup of the taxpayer's liability. Although the city is the closest body of government to the taxpayer, the portion of the property tax bill assigned to the city is relatively small."
Retired from the finance and information technology field, Dwayne was also an Oak Forest Raider football coach for 20 years. In addition, he served as coach and board member for Oak Forest baseball. Dwayne has lived in Oak Forest since 1973. He has three children and a grandson.
