Pete Muscarella has been a resident of Oak Forest since 1974 when he married his wife Jackie. The couple have three children and two grandchildren. Through the years, Pete has been active in his children's activities, some of which include: Kerkstra's sports and band booster programs and Oak Forest High School's soccer booster committee. He has served his church, St. Stephen Lutheran in Midlothian, as an usher, youth counselor and council member. He also participated in St. Damian's Vegas nights and was treasurer for the All Sports Association of the Oak Forest Park District.
He was a member of Gingerwood Homeowners Association on their pool maintenance committee. He was on the board of the Oak Forest Park District Soccer Program for 15 years serving as president, treasurer, field maintenance, and coach. Because of his dedication to the Oak Forest Park District Soccer program, a field was named in his honor in 1996. He has participated in the Oak Forest Rotary Youth Exchange Program offering his home to students from Germany and Japan while also sending his daughter to Argentina. Most recently, he was an active member and past chairman of the city's Streetscape Commission.
Pete is a proud veteran, who served his country in the Army and is honored to serve the City of Oak Forest as alderman.
