The Community Development Department provides planning, economic development and ordinance enforcement services for the residents and businesses of Oak Forest. The department strives to achieve a community with a high quality of life through ensuring quality development, enforcing codes related to neighborhood aesthetics and property, protection of natural resources, encouraging a vital business community, and creating livable and walkable neighborhoods.
