Free senior bus transportation is available to any Oak Forest resident who is at least 60 years old. The bus will pick you up at home, bring you to your destination, and return you home. What could be more convenient? Weekday transportation is provided to grocery stores, medical appointments, drug stores, restaurants, hair appointments, Senior Commission luncheons, bingo at McDonald's, and Bremen Township senior activities. 
A one-time registration is required to use the bus. You may download a registration form or contact the City Clerk's Office at 708-687-4050, ext. 1024 to receive a mailed form.
The bus service operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for transportation to worship service. Reservations for pickups for worship services must be made by 3 p.m. on the preceding Friday.
Registered seniors can call 708-473-2925 to request routine rides and 708-535-4090 for rides to special events or medical appointments.
