The Streets Division provides for safe and efficient vehicular movement on city streets. It also operates and maintains the city's storm drainage system. Specifically, the division provides the following services:
- Snow plowing
- Asphalt repairs
- Curb and sidewalk repairs
- Gutter and cross-gutters
- ADA Compliant Sidewalk Access Ramps
- Street light maintenance
- Street sweeping
- Storm sewer maintenance, including cleaning and repairing of storm inlets/catch basins, repair and maintenance of storm lines, and flood control.

To report an emergency after normal working hours or on holidays and weekends, call the police department's non-emergency line at 708-687-1376. The on-call public works supervisor will be contacted.
