- Vehicle Stickers
Registered seniors, ages 65 and up, automatically receive their vehicle stickers in the mail. All vehicles that are housed in the City of Oak Forest must be registered with the city and must display a current vehicle sticker at all times. Vehicle stickers are valid from July 1 - June 30 of each year. Vehicle sticker applications are mailed annually to residents that currently have vehicles registered with the city.
- Vehicle stickers must be purchased and displayed by midnight on June 30, 2023.
- Stickers must be completely affixed to the lower right (passenger) corner of the windshield.
- Purchase your vehicle sticker online. Or, visit City Hall, M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or drop your payment in the night depository.
- Vehicle sticker fees doubled on July 1, 2023.

Senior Citizens and Military
Senior citizens, 65 and older, are eligible to receive two (2) free vehicle stickers per household with proper ID and vehicle registration. The vehicle must be registered in the senior citizen's name.
Disabled Veterans, POWs, and active military may qualify for free registration.
New residents must register their vehicles within 30 days of moving in and must show proof of a move-in date. Please visit City Hall, M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to purchase your sticker(s). One form can register up to three (3) vehicles.
New Vehicle; Transfer Existing Registration
If you purchase a new vehicle, you can pay a $2.00 transfer fee from the old registered vehicle and receive a new sticker for the new vehicle. Limit two (2) transfers per year. Visit the City Clerk's Office to complete the vehicle sticker application form and pay the transfer fee.
