Residents, businesses to receive new water meters

The City of Oak Forest is upgrading its water meters to ensure more accurate readings.  All residents and businesses will receive new water meters within the next 12 months, including those who already have a remote read meter.   Once the upgrade is complete, all water meters will be remotely read.  Residents will receive a letter from the city with instructions to call M.E Simpson to schedule an appointment for installation.  The installation process should take less than 30 minutes.
