Oak Forest Fire Captain Jim Pioth and Assistant Director of Emergency Management Joe Pilch were among three Korean and 109 Vietnam War veterans aboard Honor Flight Chicago 125 to Washington Dulles International Airport on September 17. The flight was extra special as it marked a milestone for Honor Flight Chicago, which has transported more than 12,000 senior war heroes to our nation's capital since its founding in 2008.
