Voting on Election Day?


If you are voting on Election Day, November 8, check out this list of polling places for voters in Bremen Township.  Please note that Don Gorman Fieldhouse is no longer a polling place.  Voters in precincts 2, 3 and 74 now vote at Morton-Gingerwood School.  If you do not know your precinct, visit the Cook County Clerks website and search by address.

Starbucks
WELCOME: Mayor Kuspa, elected officials and staff officially welcomed Starbucks to Oak Forest at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 6.  Don't forget to set your clocks back before you go to bed on Saturday.  

OFHS Madrigals perform at next senior luncheon 


The Oak Forest High School Madrigals will perform at the next senior luncheon on Thursday, December 8 at 11 a.m. (doors open at 10 a.m.) at the Community Center. Tickets are available for $4 at City Hall.  

City Hall closed tomorrow


City Hall will be closed tomorrow.  During non-business hours, please use the night deposit mail slot at City Hall, pay parking or ordinance tickets online or sign up for online water bill payments.

City Council meets next week


The City Council will meet on Tuesday, November 8 at 8 p.m. for its regular meeting in Council Chambers at City Hall.  Citizens are invited to attend the meetings and are welcome to participate at the designated time.

Someday is Today: Live your Bucket List


Join Bremen Township and AgeOptions at the next Women's Wellness Group meeting on November 10 at 10 a.m. as Molly Hofer, family life educator with the University of Illinois Extension, helps you set goals to pursue your interests and fulfill your dreams. If you are a cable television subscriber, you can view the Community Information Channel (CIC-TV) on Comcast channel 19, Wide Open West channel 6 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 to learn more about city programs and events.  If you do not subscribe to cable television, you can watch Committee of the Whole and City Council meetings online or check out the DVDs at Acorn Public Library.
