City Hall will be closed Saturday and Monday

City Hall will be closed on Saturday, February 14 and Monday, February 16 (Presidents' Day).  During non-business hours, please use the night deposit mail slot at City Hall, pay parking or ordinance tickets online, or sign up for online water bill payments.  

Also, please note that garbage pickup will be on schedule.  

Need a bigger recycling cart?

The Citizens Advisory Commission wants you to know that you can request a 95-gallon recycling cart from NuWay Disposal.  The free cart is available by calling NuWay's residential account department at 708-532-8787.  

Your neighborhood has new underground cable in place

As part of its efforts to modernize the electric system, ComEd recently replaced underground cable in the Oak Forest area to help reduce power outages.  

Tune into CIC-TV

If you are a cable television subscriber, you can view the Community Information Channel (CIC-TV) on Comcast channel 19, Wide Open West channel 6 and AT&T U-verse channel 99 to learn more about city programs and events.  If you do not subscribe to cable television, you can watch Committee of the Whole and City Council meetings online or check out the DVDs at Acorn Public Library.
