The Oak Forest-Crestwood Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Oak Forest, will host the 6th Annual Oak Forest Fleadh on Saturday, March 7 on Cicero Avenue.


What's the latest event information?  

  • Register for the CNB Oak Forest Fleadh 5K today for $30 until 6 p.m. at CNB Bank or tomorrow at the race for $35.
  • Visit the Fleadh website to view business specials.
  • See Chicago Wolves Mascot Skates, the Frozen Sisters, Olaf, and Boomer in the family parade!
  • Cheer on Relay for Life at the parade.
  • Board The Bus of Fun at 152nd & Cicero at 10 a.m.

Civil Service Commission seeks to establish eligibility list for telecommuniator


The Civil Service Commission of the City of Oak Forest is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of emergency telecommunicator.  The commission is establishing an eligibility list only. There are no open positions at this time.

City Hall will be closed tomorrow, March 7.  During non-business hours, please use the night deposit mail slot at City Hall, pay parking or ordinance tickets online, or sign up for online water bill payments.

The City Council will meet on Tuesday, March 10 at 8 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.  Citizens are invited to attend City Council meetings and are welcome to participate at the designated time.
