City Hall is open Saturday, February 22

The City Hall Clerk's Office is open one Saturday a month (except June). After hours, all payments can be dropped in the Night Depository Mail slot to the right of the City Hall main entrance.

Packet Pick-Up

CNB Bank & Trust, 5459 W. 159th Street, Thursday, February 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, March 1st from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can register for the race at the bank until 5 p.m. on Friday.


New Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up Location


All event day activities will be held at the Oak Forest Community Center at 15501 Kilpatrick from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. 

New Parking Areas for Race Day


Parking will be available in several areas, walking distance to the Community Center.  The Waverly Metra parking lot at 157th & Waverly, the commercial building at 156th & Cicero (the former Ace Hardware) will offer parking, along with the neighboring streets. The registration fee on race day is $35. 


This Year's Donation: St Damian Food Pantry


At this year's event, please consider bringing can food donations to help restock the pantry at St. Damian Food Pantry.

Rotary Club Blood Drive and Free Pancake Breakfast Sunday, February 24, 2019  -  8AM - 1:15PM


Come to Oak Forest High School on Sunday, February 24 and donate blood for Heartland Blood Centers. Stay for a free pancake breakfast with entertainment from a magician, face painter and balloon artist, as well as entertainment from the park district and students from our local community! Phil & Amy are recognized for performing at many types of celebrations and get-togethers. Phil & Amy perform as a duo, providing their own accompaniment with keyboards and flute. Phil & Amy sing Broadway and the classics.

Join us Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Senior Center (Oak Forest Community Center) 15501 S. Kilpatrick Avenue. Doors open at 10 AM. Entertainment begins at 11 AM. Lunch is at 12 noon. After lunch, stay for free cash bingo at 12:45 PM. 

Tickets are available for $5.00 at City Hall (15540 S. Central; 708-687-4050) or can be purchased at the door on the day of the event. Hope to see you there!

The Oak Forest Senior Commission is looking for senior citizens who might like to serve as members of this commission, which meets in City Hall on every second Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM. 

The Senior Commission gets involved in various community events, such as the annual Health Fair at the Oak Forest Park District and monthly senior lunches at the Oak Forest Community Center.
