I - Summary
The City of Oak Forest (City), population 27,962 is seeking proposals for Asset Management and
Work Management software for Public Works.

II - Background
The City desires to replace its current asset and work management software. The City has been
utilizing its current software for the past 10+ years.

The new system must improve service to residents and increase employee efficiency and
productivity. Moreover, because of budget limitations, the system must be expandable allowing
additional modules or systems to be added in the future without difficulties. The system must
also be secure, relatively easy to use and reliable. The City anticipates enhancing many of its
process efficiencies by implementing a system that takes advantage of the most current system
technology and network services.

The City is looking to replace its current software that has been in place since 2006. The
modules currently being utilized on a daily or routine basis are as follows:
  • Work Requests
  • Work Orders / Tasks
  • Water Meters
  • Water Valves
  • Hydrants
  • Street Lights

III - Project Scope Summary
The City of Oak Forest is requesting proposals for Public Works work management software. It is
desired that the successful vendor be able to assist the City of Oak Forest with:
  • Request for Proposal tailored to City’s immediate and long-term needs
  • Vendor finalist demonstrations
  • Oversight of Installation and Implementation of selected software
