Dear Resident,

You're invited to a pre-appeal outreach event on Thursday, March 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Park Place at Central at 15601 S. Central Avenue.  During this outreach, you will have the opportunity to complete a pre-appeal form. Please note: These forms will only be available at the event. Additionally, there are significant updates occurring at the Cook County Assessor’s Office AND Springfield regarding appeals and exemptions that may directly impact Cook County homeowners, so I encourage you to attend to get the latest information.

Please bring a pen to complete the pre-appeal form while at the event.  A question-and-answer forum will follow.

PS: According to the Assessor’s Office, the Low-income Senior Citizen Assessment Freeze Exemption form has a deadline of April 21.  Forms will be mailed out this week.
