Police Department
The Oak Forest Police Department takes pride in keeping our community safe by providing professional and effective police services. We also realize by partnering and working with our community, we not only enhance police services, but also provide for that interaction, transparency, and understating that is critical to all law enforcement agencies. This is highlighted in our mission statement.
Mission Statement
The Oak Forest Police Department is committed to providing outstanding law enforcement services. We will enhance the quality of life for our residents by partnering with the community to reduce crime and solve problems. Our mandate is to conduct ourselves with professionalism and excellence to maintain public confidence.
Be the Best
As an organization, we continue to move forward and be innovative in all phases of law enforcement services, including technology, equipment, and training for our personnel. Technology for law enforcement services is growing at an exponential rate and can provide for highly efficient law enforcement without the need for additional personnel. We must also provide the necessary equipment for our members to allow them to provide the best services possible and in a timely manner. We also are committed to providing our members with high-quality and effective training to meet the needs of our residents.
We at the Oak Forest Police Department look forward to meeting our upcoming challenges and providing the community with excellence in law enforcement services. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 708-687-1376.
