Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join Mayor Hank Kuspa and Santa Claus as they ring in the holiday season at the annual Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 2. The parade kicks off at Oak Forest High School at 11 a.m. and proceeds on Central Avenue to City Hall. Parade staging takes place at Oak Forest High School at 10 a.m. The tree lighting ceremony takes place at the gazebo at City Hall after the parade. The trim-a-tree contest winners will be announced during the ceremony. After the ceremony, families can enjoy refreshments and visit with Santa Claus inside Fire Station 1. Please consider donating an unwrapped toy to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation at the event.
