Citywide Garage Sale

Dust off your stuff, clean out your closets, have a little FUN, and make some extra CASH!

In order to be included in the master list of participating homes, complete and submit the form by May 9. The city will promote the event through the newspaper, social media, Web site, and cable television.

Acorn Public Library will hold a two-day book sale in conjunction with the Citywide Garage Sale. Stop by the library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to browse through a wide variety of books.

Savers Thrift Superstore will collect unsold items from your garage sale on May 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trucks will be located at Arbor Park Middle School at 17303 South Central Avenue and CVS at 159th and Cicero Avenue. Savers will not accept TVs or furniture. Items collected will help fund Gingerwood Pool operations. Questions? Call Tricia Worthan at 708-261-5493.
