The following vehicles are no longer required for city service and are offered for sale by sealed bid, only.  The vehicles listed for sale below are sold as-is where-is without warranty or guarantee.  No acknowledgement is made as to the condition of said vehicles.  Taxes and other fees are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Vehicle Inventory

The vehicles are located in the parking lot west of the City Hall/Police Department Building located at 15440 South Central Avenue, Oak Forest, Illinois.  For inspection of vehicles, such must be arranged prior with the City Clerk’s Office.  The telephone number is 708-687-4050.

Please note the following instructions for sealed bidding on these vehicles:

Vehicles are identified by the Inventory Numbers 1, 2, and 3 above.  Individual vehicle inventory bids must be sealed in separate envelopes marked with the Inventory number on the bidding envelope.  Bids are to be delivered to the attention of Scott Burkhardt, City Clerk at the City Clerk’s Office address noted above.  Bids will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2016; bids will be opened in City Hall Chambers the following day, Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  Please be advised that the City of Oak Forest reserves the right to reject any or all bids for said vehicles.
