Zoning Code

The City of Oak Forest Zoning Code, Subdivision Code, and Zoning Map were approved in 2014. The Zoning Code regulates land use, lot size, landscaping, parking and other development related requirements, as well as procedures to request zoning relief from the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. The Zoning Map (see below) illustrates the zoning districts described in the Zoning Code.
 
The Community Development Department is responsible for reviewing projects for compliance with the Zoning Code and amended as directed by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council. For development requirements visit the Zoning Applications page.
